UNILAG Alumni Conflict Management Committee pays visit to Prince Adeyemi Adefulu

Yesterday, a delegation from the National Secretariat and of the National Executives of UNILAG Alumni Association paid a courtesy visit to His Lordship, Honourable Justice Kazeem Alogba, the Chief Judge of Lagos State in Ikeja, Lagos.
The delegation was led by the National Vice President 1, Chief Dr. Fassy Yusuf.
Other members of the delegation are National Secretary, Chief Adebisi Ogundipe, a learned silk, Mr. Olusegun Fabunmi, SAN, the Executive Secretary, Mrs. Yetunde Abatan and the Alumni Relations Manager, Mr. Seun Badejo.
The Chief Judge received the august visitors in company of members of the Bench who are also reputable Akokites.
They include Hon. Justice Oluwatoyin Ipaye, Hon. Justice Adenike Coker, Hon. Justice Jumoke Pedro, Hon. Justice Atinuke Oluyemi, Hon. Justice Adetayo Akintoye, and Hon. Justice R.O. Olukolu.
The Chief Judge , who was visibly happy to receive the visitors , in his welcome adress, went down memory lane as he revealed that he was a student in UNILAG in the ‘Ali Must Go’ years and was a part. He added proudly that he was a Balubite – the term for residents of Mariere Hall.
He pledged to be an active member of the association having not participated for many years. Promising to always be present at the events of the Association and ensure active participation of members of the bench in the Lagos State Judiciary.
His Lordship recounted his days in the University of Lagos, how he was being taught by renowned legal tutors including the late Professor Jelili Omotola, a former Vice Chancellor. He revealed how his fascination for Law started while growing up in Ajele Street, Lagos Island.
Today, he heads the Lagos State Judiciary, a proof that our Alma Mater, the University of Lagos, is a factor of leaders and trailblazers.
