Prominent Nigerian businessman and Akokite, Sola Solarin, murdered in South Africa

We regret to announce the transition of one of our members to the great beyond – Honourable Olusola Solarin, a former leader in the UNILAG Student Union in his days and a prominent leader of the Yoruba community in South Africa, who was gruesomely murdered by assailants in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Though painful and regrettable, we are using this medium to wrap our arms of love around his family, friends and associates and pray to God to grant them the fortitude to bear this irrepairable loss.

We also pray to God to grant repose to his soul. Amen

An injury to one, is an injury to all. We stand together to say no to xenophobia and all forms of violence against Nigerians everywhere in the world. ✊🏾
