We are in the news again!
The Spokesman to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has been appointed and as you would have guessed, he is an Akokite!
Ladies and gentlemen Akokites, let’s celebrate Mr. Henry Dele Alake, FNGE, on his appointment as the Special Adviser on Special Duties, Communications and Strategy to the President, Federal Republic of Nigeria – President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
His appointment as Special Adviser on Communication & Strategy is coming exactly 24 years after his first political appointment as Special Adviser, Information & Strategy to the then Governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He would later become the first man hold the position of Commissioner, Information and Strategy in the political history of Nigeria.
He is known in the fourth estate of the realm as a man of prodigious skills and sagacity in media and public information matters.
So we members of our great Alumni association are holders of the 3 top appointments in this administration. This for sure is the sign of good things to come in this administration. Don’t forget, any list of greatness or achievements without Akokites on it, is as good as empty.
