Remarkable things happen to remarkable people on remarkable days! On February 22, 2022 (22/2/22), titans of adverting and marketing communications in Nigeria were inducted into the MarketingEdge Hall of Fame. As usual, any list of excellence without Akokites is as good as empty!
Among the 21 distinguished persons that were honoured, 7 of them are Akokites.
In no particular order. They are – Dr. Biodun Shobanjo, Sir Steve Omojafor, OON, Mr. Jimi Awosika, Dr. Akin Ogunbiyi, Mrs. ‘Bunmi Oke, Mrs. Funmi Omo, and the legendary Mr. George Thorpe.
Congratulations to you all. We celebrate your giant strides and are proud of your achievements in your various capacities. Thanks for not hiding your talents and creative genius!
