Another Akokite takes centre stage!
Live and direct from Edo State is the cheering news to announce that an Akokite – Honourable Justice Daniel Iyobosa Okungbowa was recently sworn-in as the Chief Judge of Edo State by the Governor, His Excellency, Mr. Godwin Obaseki.
Justice Okungbowa holds a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Lagos and is a member of the 1983 UNILAG LAW Class – known as the Flagship Law set. The set is renowned for having the highest number of judges, SANs, eminent lawmakers, lawyers and academics of any Law set of the University of Lagos.
Justice Okungbowa was appointed a judge of the Edo State High Court in 2001 and has contributed immensely to the judiciary of the state.
Congratulations to His Lordship! We are proud of your giant strides and also confident of many more remarkable achievements ahead.
