The York College of Pennsylvania has named an alumnus of the College of Medicine, University of Lagos, Dr. Emmanuel B. John as the Dean of the Dr. Donald E. and Lois J. Myers School of Nursing and Health Professions.
Dr. John is currently Chair and Associate Professor of the Department of Physical Therapy at Chapman University in Irvine, California and had previously served in various capacities.
He also serves in leadership roles for a number of professional organizations, including as Secretary and a Member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors for the American Council on Academic Physical Therapy. He is also a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and Executive Director of the Nigeria Physiotherapy Network.
Everyday we get reports of Akokites achieving great feats in various universities and institutions across the world. In the coming decades, Akokites would have taken over everywhere in the Western World. This is a testament of the fact that “East or West, Akokites are the BEST!”
